What If

1. The inactivated X chromosome (including the short and the long arm) were reactivated like in the gamete cells but in the somatic cell, earlier in the stages of division. What do you think would happen? Would we die? Would nature accept us?

Fact

1. Ribozyme is one of the only enzyme that is not a protein.

2. Spanish Influenza hit the world in winters of 1918-1919. A mild wave had started off but was not taken seriously. More men died of the influeza than of the war. They died mainly of Pneumonia. There was a lot of blood loss and respiratory arrest. It was earlier called La Grippe and had claimed many lives in Spain first and hence the new name.
